Chan Kwai Onn is a Consultant Ear Nose Throat (ENT) Sinus & Sleep Surgeon. 

     He is an ENT Surgeon at his own clinic at the Novena Medical Center, Square 2 and is also a Visiting Consultant to Changi General Hospital (CGH), KK Women’s and Children Hospital (KKWCH) and Singapore General Hospital (SGH). Dr Chan is also a clinical lecturer with the Faculty of Medicine, National University of Singapore (NUS).

     His special interests include treating sinus and sleep problems.

    Dr Chan graduated from the National University of Singapore in 1993. He completed his specialist training in ENT, Head and Neck Surgery in 2002. He has worked as an ENT, Head and Neck Specialist at CGH since 2003. At CGH, he headed the Sinus and Allergy Clinic. He is also well versed in the latest treatments for sinus problems including image-guided endoscopic sinus surgery and balloon sinuplasty.

     Dr Chan is also very experienced in treating sleep disorders including snoring and obstructive sleep apnoea (OSA).

Specialist training

    He spent one year (2002-2003)attached to St Paul’s Hospital in Vancouver, Canada, specializing in endoscopic sinus and skull base surgery and rhinology (treatment of nose disorders). 

Humanitarian work

     Dr Chan has a keen interest in education and has taught local doctors in Canada (2006), Kenya, (2006, 2007), Vietnam (2007) and Cambodia (2007) in endoscopic sinus surgery.

      Nationally, he is Secretary of the Singapore ENT Society and very active in teaching the next generation of ENT doctors.

     He is married with 3 children. His interests are golf, photography, and various outdoor activities.
